For the past few weeks, we have been doing an overhaul of everything MAP Solutions Group, business plan, marketing plan, the whole kit-and-caboodle.

It was time to take a step back and really analyze – what’s working and what isn’t.  Does our website match our current business offerings?  Is our social media telling the narrative that best serves us and our demographic (potential clients)?  Is our tagline on brand?  Where can we optimize?

Five years ago, the majority of our client work was executing their marketing – social media, website revamps, blogs, partnerships, etc.  Now our focus has shifted more heavily to strategy, consulting and coaching.  #FractionalCMO and #MarketingStrategy are regularly included on our social media posts.

Sometimes we get so busy doing, we forget to take a step back and look at the business as a whole- beyond accounting and marketing plans. We neglect to take the time to really evaluate the product and services, who the demographic is and then to compare to see if everything, including initiatives, is aligned.

Use this  blog as the motivation to take the time to evaluate your business. Best case scenario – everything’s on track- Yay!  Worst case- tweaks and revisions are made to get you where you want it to be.  It’s a win-win!
